“A popular website posted a completely fabricated story  about me yesterday, and now it’s circulating around the internet. It is important for me to speak to my fans and let them know that the story is 100% fiction. It’s completely made up!  I love all my fans and all people of various racial, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I would never, in any way, say anything racially derogatory. In addition, I love my Bad Boy family and have nothing but love for the entire label and staff. Don’t believe the lies! The story is absolutely false.”

The Background:

Before being known as a hip-hop hitmaker, Murph joined his friends, including Nelly, to create the St. Lunatics when he was still in his teens. After appearing on Nelly’s first release, the multi-platinum Country Grammar album in 2000, Murph went on to release his solo album, Murphy’s Law, in 2003. He has worked with legends such as Jermaine Dupri and Lil Wayne and won a Grammy for the song “Shake Ya Tailfeather” featuring Nelly and Diddy. Look out for second solo album You See Me soon on Derrty Ent. / Universal Records.

The Song:

Masta Ace’s original Friday night anthem gets a major update thanks to Mr. Flash’s “Sittin on Cr02 RMX” from Delicious Vinyl’s RMXXOLOGY. The tune’s original brassy 90’s sound has been pumped up and pimped out to the max in this version, which still holds true to the classic fundamentals of weekend fun: Babes, Cash, and Cars. The production facelift, courtesy of Mr. Flash, will come as a welcome change to all those bodies out there lookin’ to get busy.

The Background:

RMXXOLOGY features Delicious Vinyl classics by the likes of Tone-Loc, The Pharcyde, Masta Ace, The Brand New Heavies, and Born Jamericans re-imagined by artists including Peaches, Eminem, Diplo, Hot Chip, Phillipians, Ed Banger’s Mr. Flash, and Bobby Evans. The singles for the album have been burning up the charts in the UK and here in the US.
