“I Want To Work For Diddy” premieres Monday, August 4 at 9 PM ET/PT.

New York, NY July 11, 2008 – Diddy. He only needs one name, but he needs a virtual army of help to keep his legendary empire of music, acting, fashion, sports, fragrance and television running. The ultimate secret weapon in that army? Diddy’s personal assistant. VH1’s new competitive reality series “I Want To Work For Diddy” tracks 13 hungry applicants as they compete to land the job of a lifetime. This isn’t some boring job interview. They’ll be challenged emotionally, physically and mentally to earn the privilege of doing Diddy’s bidding, and just one lucky person will get the chance to call him “My Boss.” “I Want To Work For Diddy” premieres Monday, August 4 at 9 PM ET/PT.

After a nationwide search, VH1 found 13 determined young men and women with the raw potential to assist and exist with of one of the world’s most high profile CEOs. Each one-hour episode showcases a range of challenges, many based on the real life experiences of Diddy’s previous assistants. In addition to completing these tasks, the applicants must also do their best to impress an intimidating panel of judges: self-made business prodigy and Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group Kevin Liles, Sean John Marketing Director and former Diddy assistant Capricorn Clark and Diddy’s ultimate henchman, Island Def Jam Chief of staff, Phil Robinson. Throughout the series Diddy will share his business acumen with viewers by setting up a series of challenges that run the gamut from “The Art of Multitasking” to “No Bitchassness Allowed.”

Will determination, motivation and drive pay off, or will the pressure be too much to bear? Tune in for all the tears and meltdowns as we find out who will ultimately work for Diddy.

The self-proclaimed Queen of the South, aka Thug Misses, aka Khia, has moved up her release date in conjunction with her label Big Cat Records and distributor, Tommy Boy. After learning that early leaks of Nasti Muzik had surfaced, the album release date has been moved from July 22nd to now.

Explains Victor Lee, General Manager of Tommy Boy, “After discovering that tracks from the album had surfaced on various peer-to-peer file-sharing networks, we made the quick decision to push forward the iTunes release date in order to allow fans to support Khia by purchasing the album and avoid any future illegal distribution of songs.”

Known for her infamous 2002 smash club hit single, “My Neck, My Back,” and her recent appearance on VH1’s Miss Rap Supreme, Khia has returned to bring her sexually-driven lyrical prowess and southern charisma to her latest album. On each track Khia commands the listener’s attention by being what she knows best; herself. Khia makes no attempt to fit into the mainstream mold or tone down her image to placate music execs or concerned parents. Instead, Khia is intent on an explicit musical revolution that is equal parts shocking, and hilarious, all in the name of entertainment. The album also features a series of skits, both musical and comedic, that confront Khia’s haters and are sure to spark new rivalries.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Tampa, Florida, Khia now resides in Atlanta. Khia has been writing and singing rap, R&B and gospel her whole life. Her first brush with the hip-hop club scene began when she bartended at the trend setting club XS in Tampa. The bar was home to Wild 98.7 and served as the venue for the hottest local DJ and club shows. When Khia’s mother passed away in 2000 from kidney failure, Khia used her grief as a catalyst to kick her music career into action. In 2002 Khia wrote, produced, and released her debut album Thug Misses. Distributed by Artemis Records, but with no major label contract deal, Khia found success on her own terms despite not having “Top 40″ radio play or PR team to gain exposure for her album. The now infamous single, “My Neck, My Back,” has sold 100,000 units to date and has been featured on numerous television shows and feature films. In 2005, she released her sophomore album Gangstress, which featured the single “Snatch the Cat Back.” Khia has also been featured on the Janet Jackson’s “So Excited” and Trick Daddy’s “Jodd.” Most recently Khia was featured on VH1’s Miss Rap Supreme and had an ongoing column with Allhiphop.com. Nasti Muzik was produced by Khia, Marlon “Big Cat” Rowe and Melvin “Birdman” Breeden The album is available at both retail stores and online now.
